Description
The Santa Monica Tibetan Buddhist Group holds a meditation instruction and practice session on the first Thursday of each month. After meditation practice, we also are reading and discussing a book entitled: "Dharma Paths" by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche. Our attendance on the first Thursday of each month is about 20 people and for the other Thursday nights it varies from 8 to 15. Some are new to Buddhism and our meditation and discussion leaders have over 10 years experience each with the practice of dharma in daily life. This is not a comparative religion or philosophy class, it is for people interested in applying the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha's teaching in thier life 'now'. http://www.santamonicaktc.org/
