Socially and economically disadvantaged individuals include Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, and Subcontinent Asian Americans. Individuals not members of these minority groups who can demonstrate that they are socially and economically disadvantaged also may be eligible.
