Description
On Thanksgiving Eve, from 3 p.m to 10 p.m., you can take a "behind-the-scenes" tour to watch inflation engineers give life to the Macy's Day Parade giant balloon characters. From 77th to 81st Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue, the sidewalk becomes congested with a slow moving stream of families, pushing their way towards the side streets where Underdog and Shrek lay waiting for a chance to grow into their annual performance.
