Dear FANHS Members & Friends,
Greetings! Thank you to those of you who made it to our October Filipino American History Month events. We had a successful turnout at our events and we enjoyed commemorating the month w/ old & new members and friends.
In October FANHS San Diego also was selected to work on a book project for Arcadia Publishing. I wrote and submitted the proposal which was accepted. We need pictures of Filipino Americans in San Diego . The majority of the pictures need to come from before the 1970’s. However, additional pictures from the 1970’s to the present will also be included.
Please help FANHS SD by selecting pictures from your albums, contacting your family, friends and loved ones who have been a part of the Filipino American community of San Diego . We will be hosting Community Days to collect pictures in December, January, &
February. More information on the January & February dates will follow.
Please do join us for our next meeting which will also be a Holiday Potluck and Community Day for collecting Pictures:
