On December 2, Georgia voters have to try again to elect a senator, as the race between Democrat Jim Martin and Republican Saxby Chambliss was too close to call. An 18-year veteran of the Georgia legislature, Jim Martin has lived his entire life in Georgia and is determined to represent the middle class in the U.S. Senate just as he has throughout a state political career that included running the Department of Human Resources. Jim notes that his opponent Saxby Chambliss, a noted yes-man for President Bush, "has promised to do everything he can to stop Barack Obama from succeeding."
