Beat the holiday-baking blues at Macy’s School of Cooking in Mission Valley as KPBS Celebrates welcomes Jack Bishop, editorial director of America’s Test Kitchen, for a crash course in cookie baking. Lunch will be provided by executive chef Jeff Rossman of Terra Restaurant and Catering, and guests will receive a signed copy of America’s Test Kitchen’s just-published Family Baking Book. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 1555 Camino de la Reina, 619-594-1515; www.kpbs.org/celebrates.
