    A cultural studies / music / performing arts symposium about Bruce Springsteen.

    Agenda, Speakers, and Special Events

    The official timing of events for the Symposium will be posted in early August. However, the conference will run from the morning of Friday, September 9, through the afternoon of Sunday, September 11, 2005. Preconference tours will be offered on Thursday, September 8, and postconference tours will be offered on Sunday, September 11. There will also be a preconference session offered in the afternoon of Thursday, September 8, on Using Springsteen in the Classroom.

    Location and Accommodations for the Conference

    This conference, organized by Penn State, will be held on the beautiful campus of Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, and at the Sheraton Eatontown Center in Eatontown, New Jersey. Once you have registered for the conference, you will receive additional information including directions to Monmouth and the Sheraton. The conference will begin on Friday, September 9, in the morning at the Sheraton and will convene at Monmouth beginning the afternoon of September 9 and all day September 10 and 11.
